Government IPv6 Task Force

The Government is to establish a national ‘task force’ that will examine the opportunities presented by Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) in a bid to give Ireland a first mover advantage in deploying the new standard. One of the members of the new Irish task force will be Diarmuid McIntyre, European research manager of the TSSG.
