M-Zones

M-Zones is concerned with the management of Smart Space environments.

The objective of the M-Zones (Managed Zones) project is to:

• pursue fundamental research into novel management infrastructures
  to enable collaboration and management between and within smart spaces
• adopt a policy-based management approach to support dynamic
  monitoring, configuration, control and co-ordination of these managed
  zones.

These objectives should help to shed light on the area of ubiquitous
and pervasive computing. The research should also provide valuable
information about location-based services and presence in the mobile
domain.
