NGN Test Centre Launch at TSSG

Ireland’s next-generation network (NGN) rollout has started subtly with the creation of a €2.5m NGN Test Centre at the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG) based in Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT). Funded in association with Enterprise Ireland, with support from Ericsson Ireland Ltd, this test centre enables Irish software firms to trial their mobile services on a private telecommunications network.
