Brian Meskill , PhD Student
Personal Summary
Brian is a PhD student investigating issues in management and provision of resources in a Quality of Service sensitive context. His current work is focusing in the area of content distribution and delivery within an IPTV environment. Recently, he has examined the conditions under which available bandwidth estimation tools can be used to help manage the Quality of Service in this area, and has investigated approaches to content distribution and selection that utilize these tools to optimise revenue and cost for an IPTV provider.
