Ray Carroll is a post-doctoral researcher at the Telecommunications Software and Systems Group, where he is working in the area of bio-inspired services and service management. In particular he is investigating how biological services can be applied to solve a number of service management problems. Recent work has moved towards how bio-services can also help provide greener and more sustainable data-centres through the migration of services to data-centres with better renewable energy profiles and cooling efficiency.
