Personal Summary

John is currently pursuing Masters in Computer Science by Research in the Department of Computing and Mathematics, Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland. He is working as a part of the Science Foundation Ireland funded CONNECT Research Centre. After graduation  John was retained as a Teaching Assistant at Gulu University Department of Computer Science upto January 2016. Current Activities / Research Interests

He is currently working on a Connect-IBM project. The project will  aim  to  connect unobtrusive  and  ubiquitous  sensing  technologies  (Internet of  Things),  advanced  data  management  and analytics models via the IBM Bluemix PaaS for moving towards more smart agriculture and better farmer life quality. Alongside his current MSc study, John continues to research in: e-learning for low bandwidth environments, Software Defined Networking, Network Function Virtualization and Remote Sensing, IoT (Internet of Things), Fog Computing, Cloud computing, Computer  Security.
