Kevin McGrath is a Bachelor of Business Studies graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology.

He joined East Digifone (later to become o2 Ireland) as an Operations Analyst shortly after the Company was awarded the second Gsm licence for Ireland.  He performed a number of roles both prior to and post launch of the service.  With the introduction of a new billing system Kevin performed the role of Billing Coordinator and was responsible for the ongoing testing of new products launched by the company.

In 2000 Kevin joined Openet Telecom which again was an Irish telco start-up company at the time.  He joined the test department as a Senior Test Engineer.  In this role he developed and executed both manual and automated test cases initially at the company’s development centre in Dublin and when required at various customer sites around the world.

Kevin joined the commercialisation team within Waterford Institute of Technologies TSSG in 2006 as a Verification and Validation engineer.  He has worked on several Enterprise Ireland projects including FeedHenry (CFTD/2006/219), SWAGGER (POC/2008/033), SSGS & COIN.  He has also worked on Billing4Rent an EU funded project which provided a SaaS interface to Intec’s Single.eView billing product.  He also worked on mCommunity an European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supported project through the Ireland Wales Cross Border Programme 2007 – 2013(INTERREG 4A.
