Personal Summary


I am currently employed by TSSG/WIT as a Research Project Manager and I am work package lead in the Aniketos project which aims to establish and maintain trustworthiness and secure behaviour in a constantly hanging service environment. ANIKETOS is a collaborative project funded under the EU 7th Research Framework Programme. It is aligned to the strategic objective 1.4. Secure, dependable and trusted infrastructures defined by the European Commission in the FP7 ICT Work Programme 2009-2010.
I have strong technical and management skills which have adapted according to business priority. These include; Project management, SQL, data analysis, requirements management, Automated testing (WinRunner/TestDirector), advanced excel/word/powerpoint, mind mapping applications, MS visio, html, technical report writing.

Current Activities / Research Interests


  • Think-Trust investigated Trust, Security, Dependability, Privacy and Identity from ICT and Societal Perspectives. The project and its Advisory Board (RISEPTIS) was supported by targeted working groups from the stakeholder and research community. These WG focussed on 1) Security, Dependability and Trust in the Future Internet and 2) Privacy and Trust in the Information Society. The overall objective was to formulate recommendations on future policy and research priorities. This was achieved through the publication of the RISEPTIS report
  • VidAs, a P2P video on demand system where we are involved in the authentication and encryption work packages.
  • SecurIST This project is co-ordinating the development of a Strategic Research Agenda for Security and Dependability R&D (Steering Committee for a European Security & Dependability Taskforce). See www.securitytaskforce.eu for more details of the deliverables and events that I have been responsible for.
  • ESFORS This project is a Coordination Action that aims at bringing together the European stakeholders for security and dependability Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to address the security and dependability requirements of emerging software service platforms.
  • Knowledge Management initiatives internally in TSSG
  • I have been involved in a number of project proposals for IST SMART, Framework Programme 6 and currently working on Framework Programme 7 that will be evaluated during the summer of 2007.
