IrishWAN AGM 2004

The TSSG sponsored IrishWAN AGM held on the 24th April was a success with over 60 attendees. There were many interesting presentations on how to secure wireless networks using VPN's and IPSEC, emerging wireless technologies such as 802.20 (one to watch out for) and where the IrishWAN group is heading in the years to come.

Several equipment vendors also attended and were showing off the latest in WiFi antennas and cables, and also gave opinions on where they saw wireless networking in Ireland in 5 years time.
