The MDS software project is an Enterprise Ireland funded project between MDS Telephone Systems and the TSSG. The purpose of this project is to ensure that the next generation of MDS Telephone Systems PBX equipment can support the fullest range of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) services. A TAPI Telephony Service Provider is being developed using C++, with the GUI developed using MFC. A range of clients are also supported including:
- TAPI 2.1 C/C++ applications
- TAPI 3.0 Visual Basic or COM based applications
- Enterprise Communication's OCP Call and ZAP Office products
