Impulse

Impulse is an EI funded Innovation Partnership project between the TSSG (www.tssg.org) and Hash 6 Ltd (www.hash6.com). The project is building a software platform and service solution for Hash 6. Hash 6 will market the solution to radio stations to create new revenue opportunities that increase their turnover and their shareholder value. TSSG and Hash 6 will conduct live field trials with Irish radio stations before the end of 2006.

The TSSG has developed all the software in the Hash 6 company. TSSG and Hash 6 have filed joint patent applications in respect of the Impulse business model and technology.

The solution platform supports a web interface and is integrated into radio systems, telecom service partners and digital content suppliers to support the identification and subsequent purchase of tracks played by a radio station. Modern information and communication technologies are exploited in innovative ways to make the service attractive to the target market.
