Software Verification and Validation Engineer

The successful candidate will plan, design, develop and execute the Verification and Validation of advanced telecommunications products.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the following areas:
• Proven experience in the following types of testing: Functional, Acceptance, Performance, Scalability and Installation Testing.
• Using technical specifications to design test specifications and procedures.
• Developing software and scripts to automate test cases.
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies.
• Testing software against test plans and technical specifications, investigating and reporting errors and defect tracking.
• Generating test harnesses, managing test data suites and configuring and controlling test environments.

The candidate should be able to work in a dynamic team environment and will be expected to display excellent time management, organisational and communication skills.

Candidates must have a BSc/BEng in Computing or Telecommunications, or equivalent, and have at least 3 years software test experience.
