Junior Software Engineer(s)

You will work as a developer on innovative and large-scale software systems. You must have software development experience; either professionally, or you will have a third level qualification in computer science or equivalent. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Explain technical subjects in everyday language
• Design and develop software components to standard interfaces
• Design and explain object-oriented system and concepts
• Work comfortably with a quality process and within a team
• Work with external partners in a professional manner
• Be competent in the use of a software IDE
• Be competent in some or all of Java, SQL, XML, .Net, C++
• Be able to design and implement a database model
• Be able to describe and explain computer science concepts
• Preferably have active community involvement via participation in open source projects, blogging, or academic publications
• Preferably have a background in web-focused enterprise Java
• Preferably have experience in agile development
