Inco Trust

Project Overview

The ICT IncoTrust project is 2.5 year project that is also co-ordinated by the TSSG and has a main purpose to target international cooperation in the area of Trustworthy, Secure and Dependable ICT infrastructures. The project is Promoting collaboration and partnerships between researchers from the developed countries with the goal of coordinating the multiple research efforts underway in the areas of ICT Trust, Security and Dependability (TSD).

Project Implementation

To leverage and harmonise efforts on the respective sides related to the building and maintenance of large-scale trustworthy ICT systems and infrastructures and the services they deliver.

The core objectives of the work proposed by INCO-TRUST are:

1. Prioritisation of the EU influenced vision and research directions in TSD amongst the developed countries, including alignment of work programs;

2. Facilitation of a Core Steering Group to act as a technical & progamme level influence catalyst for engagement, collaboration and networking activities internationally between TSD researchers in the EU and USA, Japan, Australia and exploring co-operation potential in Canada and South Korea;

3. Collating/Building on the outcomes from two successful workshops held already between the EU and US.

In the ICT IncoTrust project the TSSG are again complete project co-coordinators with responsibility for carrying out the project management activities, including events organization, external liaisons and dissemination.
