Software Engineer

The TSSG are looking for exceptional developers to work in small, motivated teams on innovative research & development projects. The successful candidates will work on innovative development projects, must have a degree in computing or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have experience in several of the following areas.
- Strong Object Oriented programming in Java or similar OO language.
- An appreciation for software development tools, methods and trends.
- IP networks and associated protocols.
- Mobile networks and protocols.
- AGILE software development.
- Web development (in either J2EE or the .NET platform)
- Database development and administration.
- Developing for *nix environments
- Developing for mobile devices (especially using MIDP2.0)
- Some exposure to web services.

The candidate should be able to work in a dynamic team environment with excellent time management, organisation and communication skills. All candidates for this position must have a BSc/BEng in computing or telecommunications, or equivalent.
