Business Development Manager

The principle role of the Business Development Manager is to support one of the TSSG product centres with in depth market analysis and business planning. The market analysis should detail specific market trends for product positioning, should identify viable markets for each product along with detailed competitor analysis. The Business Development manager will also be involved in evaluating pan European market validation trials and capturing customer feedback. Ultimately the role will involve the development of market analysis and business plans for products based on the results of the aforementioned activities.

The position requires excellent organisational, communication and process skills, with an ability to balance process adherence within a dynamic operating environment.

The role interfaces at all levels internally and externally, requiring the individual to adapt their written and oral communication style depending upon the audience and their culture. Communication will be varied in form including written reports, plans and deliverables, oral discussions (teleconferences) and pan European customer site visits. Individuals must be able to demonstrate an ability to apply varied communication styles across varying levels/cultures internally and externally.

All candidates for this position must have a Marketing/Business Degree or similar Qualification.
