Product Marketing Manager

Major Duties:

Product Marketing

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to work in our marketing team in the commercialisation division. The successful candidate will work on cutting edge Web and mobile Web products and work in areas of business development, marketing and PR.

The principle role will be to support the marketing team in customer lead generation and acquisition. The individual should contribute to maintaining ongoing customer analysis and contact with a view to gathering feedback to impact the product roadmap. The individual will also participate in market and competitor analysis along with product promotion and PR.

Responsibilities:

The individual is responsible for:
• Generating potential customer leads in appropriate sectors.
• Managing key partner accounts.
• Contacting potential customers and conducting necessary product demonstrations.
• Sales and customer tracking.
• Carrying out market research in different sectors, in particular the telecommunications sector and maintaining a comprehensive marketing plan.
• Conducting continuous competitor and marketing analysis.
• Gathering customer feedback to assist in product roadmap.
• Assisting in the development of necessary promotional artefacts and marketing collateral.
• Attending industry conferences.

Key Skills/Competencies

Organisation Skills
The role requires excellent organisational, communication and process skills, with an ability to balance process adherence within a dynamic operating environment.

Communication
The role interfaces at all levels internally and externally, requiring the individual to adapt their written and oral communication style depending upon the audience and their culture. Communication will be varied in form including written reports, plans and deliverables, oral discussions (teleconferences). Individuals must be able to demonstrate an ability to apply varied communication styles across varying levels/cultures internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Business/marketing Degree or similar qualification.
• 3-4 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with start up companies not essential but nice to have.
• Project management skills essential.
