Research Software Developer - ONE Project

Minimum Qualification Required: Degree in Computing or related discipline

Major Duties:
Working on existing projects within the PCS group in TSSG
Software development
Telecommunications research
Writing research papers
Identifying and writing funding proposals at national and European level

Skills needed:
Essential: Knowledge and Experience in Java, XML
Desirable knowledge in the area of AJAX (ZK Framework), P2P networks, Identity Management, J2EE, JBPM
Strong problem solving skills
Knowledge of test driven development practices and tools (including JUnit) is desirable.

The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues on a project team and superiors.
Must continue to develop an appreciation of the wider field of technology outside their own specialization and has developed a good broad understanding of computer system architecture, (studying, magazines,WEB..).
