TSSG Marketing Manager

Minimum Qualification Required: BSc, BBS or equivalent + 5 years relevant experience

Major Duties:
The key responsibilities of this role involve working with Enterprise Ireland funded commercialisation projects to perform market and industry analysis, identification and recruitment of trial customers, shaping the technology development according to the needs of the market, based on models (such as the technology adoption lifecycle) and disseminating the results of the project. Further responsibilities include helping prepare marketing plans for commercialisation project technology that is been used to create a TSSG spin-out company and acting as a marketing manager for these companies as they are being developed. Detailed responsibilities include:

• Identification of market opportunities for commercialisation projects through effective market segmentation and analysis;
• Using the above analysis to create tactical marketing plans for lead customer acquisition through targeted campaigns, webinars and events;
• Creating content such as white papers, case studies, presentations, and web site content for execution of these campaigns;
• Project Management of Campaigns and Events/Trade Shows – such as 3GSM and CTIA;
• Pitching TSSG commercialisation projects to lead customers and key partners, and prospects in the overseas market;
• Vetting customer needs and transitioning vetted prospects to leads for the Business Development Manager - TSSG.
• Profiling prospects by way of Org Chart, initiatives, budgets, etc;
• Coordinating with Business Development Manager for presentations and demos, providing relevant customer inputs for the same;
• Generating a large number of leads to fuel the growth of future commercialisation projects activities;
• Working with commercialisation project teams to help shape technology platforms into solutions that solve key problems for lead customers;
• Working with commercialisation project researchers to help develop a market-orientation perspective;
• Disseminating the results of commercialisation projects;
• Developing marketing plans for commercialisation project technologies that are being spun out into start-ups;
