Online Writer and Editor

Commencement Date and Project Duration: Commencement July 1st for 9 months

Minimum Qualification Required: Degree level qualification in journalism or communications.

Salary: 30,000 Euro

Major Duties:
- Constantly monitor news and blogging sites and be aware of new technology trends and their impact on online news delivery.
- Keep abreast of current technological and cultural developments that impact on mobile devices and the mobile Internet market.
- Autonomously sub-edit and publish their own work using Wordpress.
- Attend Conferences globally to continually keep abreast of the state of the art in online publishing.
- Record, edit and publish video packages - including editing of full multimedia content - while on the go and under time constraints.
- Create and maintain good relations with online bloggers with influence and insight, news sources and PR agencies.
- Gain a complete understanding of how social media networks can be utilised to increase reach of online offerings.
