Ireland Offers Unique Environment for Wireless Innovation

Something's brewing in Ireland, and it's not just Guinness.
Enterprise Ireland (EI), a government organization aimed at fostering growth in all segments of industry on the green isle, says the country is uniquely poised to become a hotbed of technological innovation.

Telecommunications Software and Systems Group (TSSG), an Irish research and innovation center focused on next-generation networks, is an example of the kind of programs EI funds within the wireless space. TSSG this week announced the launch of the world's first open-access IMS network that exploits Ireland's available spectrum.
