Previous Experience

Served as
Managing Director of a specialist in the high precision engineering market,
from 2001 to 2006. Led all company strategic initiatives, with specific
emphasis on new business development and sales and marketing drives in the
US. Extensive exposure with dealing at executive level with many blue chip
international company's such as Agilent Technologies, Bausch & Lomb and The
Boeing Company. Successfully changed the company strategy from being purely
a manufacturing company to being an R&D partner with specialist
manufacturing in the medical device market. Developed an osteoporosis
product in partnership with Juvent Inc., a New Jersey based medical device
company and developed all manufacturing and quality protocols and
successfully achieved the products CE Mark. Manufactured the complete
product managing the entire supply chain through packaging and shipping to
worldwide markets.
In line with the strategy of gaining an IP position in the medical device
market, convinced Juvent to set up their European Operations in Ireland. Was
appointed General Manager of Juvent Ltd with responsibility for sales and
marketing, manufacturing, distribution and clinical trials. Served through
the successful launch of the product and building of the new sales team.
Joined the TSSG group in WIT with a view to leveraging his experience with
the IP being generated in the group and investigating commercial
applications.
