Project Overview

This project was an Enterprise Ireland funded project (AR/1999/332) between MDS Telephone Systems and the TSSG. The purpose of this project
was to ensure that the next generation of MDS Telephone Systems PBX equipment can support the fullest range of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) services.

 

The project ran from January 2000 to January 2001

Project Achievements


A TAPI Telephony Service Provider which connected to the MDS PBX was developed using C++, with the GUI developed using MFC. A range of
clients are also supported including:

* TAPI 2.1 C/C++ applications
* TAPI 3.0 Visual Basic or COM based applications
* Enterprise Communication’s OCP Call and ZAP Office products
