T
he TSSG Innovation &
Commercialisation Centre is the
commercial arm of the TSSG. It
leverages the scientific research results
of the TSSG to deliver innovative research and
commercial solutions for Irish Industry. TSSG
provides a number of R&D services including
contract research, Innovation Partnerships,
Innovation vouchers and knowledge transfer
to Irish industry (some in partnership with
Enterprise Ireland) that are designed to help
multinationals, large Irish companies and
HPSUs (High Potential Start-up) improve
competitiveness.
Here we’re providing just a few examples of how
you can leverage the group’s expertise.
The TSSG has numerous ways of engaging partners
of any size, to find out how you can leverage TSSG
services simply email us directly on the contact
details provided below.
1. Enterprise Ireland Innovation Partners
The Centre engages with Irish Industry in
collaborative industrial research projects which are
offered through the Enterprise Ireland Innovation
Partners Programme
1
. The EI -IP programme
offers financial support to EI HPSU (High Potential
Start-ups) and multinational organisations based
in Ireland who engage in collaborative research
projects with the TSSG. The proposal process and
administration of the project is managed by the
TSSG.
2. Enterprise Ireland Innovation Voucher
Pre-HPSUs and HPSUs can leverage the TSSG’s
expertise in problem solving through the Enterprise
Ireland Innovation Vouchers Scheme
2
. The Innova-
tion Voucher Scheme was developed to build links
between Ireland’s public knowledge providers (such
as TSSG) and small businesses. Innovation Vouch-
ers worth €5,000 are available to assist companies
to explore a business opportunity or problem with
a registered knowledge provider. Currently, TSSG
delivers around 25 vouchers per year.
3. Contract Research
The TSSG also undertakes contract research and de-
velopment of new technologies with entrepreneurs
or large multinationals. Contract research solves
specific technical challenges for Irish companies.
